What We Do
In order to fulfill our mission, we focus our attention on the following:
- Promote Arts Council arts affiliate organizations, including presenting co-sponsored events
- Provide performing, visual and literary arts programs for audiences of all ages and including:
- Promote and provide mult-cultural arts programs and services
- Advocate the arts at the local, regional, state and national levels
- Serve as a centralized arts information center and distributing arts information through our newsletter, eNewsletter, arts calendar, and JobBank for artists events
- Provide outreach services to extend the reach of the arts in Northeast Georgia
- Serve as a Grassroots Arts Granting Agency partner with The Georgia Council for the Arts
- Provide arts education to children through our Arts in Schools™ program, cultural arts workshops in inner-city day camps and children's art festivals.
