|
Truett-McConnell College is a liberal arts, distinctively Christian institution that seeks to impact the next generation and, indeed, the world. The campus sits on 200 acres of prime mountain land one mile east of the town square in Cleveland, Georgia. After more than half a century as a two-year college, in December 2002 the institution was approved by its accrediting agency to offer four-year degrees. The Music Department is organized within the Fine Arts Division at Truett-McConnell College. The department is rooted firmly in a strong Christian and liberal arts tradition. It is committed to providing for each music student, an opportunity to obtain beginning and progressive musical training leading to a degree in music. In addition, it seeks to provide for the interested student, an opportunity to study music as one of the fine arts for the enrichment of his/her academic and personal life.
